spanning the DC to multi-GHz frequency range
with a single, unswitched
solver.
The solution needs to be
full-wave and truly three-dimensional, to
account for complex mode-types and
edge-coupling effects.
The methodology needs to solve
large-scale problems in fast simulation times
in order to reduce design cycles and to keep
the design-cycle time short.
High-dynamic
range requirements imply that speed and scale
enhancements cannot come at the cost of
accuracy.
